Winter swells are here,
So the end of a cracking year is upon us. 2013 has been a great year for surf , weather and meeting a whole bunch of lovely people who stayed with us at the Secret spot lodge during their vacations. Sadly the start of the season was disastorous for a few regular visitors that stayed with us during the end of May into June. However from that point on we have had back to back great surf and weather.
We have decided that from this year we are only going to open from May15th – Oct15th, then its time for us to party and get some waves and sunshine abroad. At the end of the season this year we headed on down to the Algarve in portugal to find a very pleasing blue sky climate with great little waves.
Feeling fully refreshed we are back just before Christmas to have a Secret spot family time at home , and then welcome 2014 with few tasty little additions for the Guests booked for this summer. Our aim each year is to add a little bit more to make sure our guests have everything they need and want for the holidays. So the aim this winter is to extend the sundeck around the pool and add a gazeebo at the end with a chill out area.
We would just like to take this chance to say a big thank you to all of our guests this year and we are looking forward to seeing some of you back again for the 2014 hols.
Until then we will be here and i personally will be cashing in on the massive 4-5 meter winter swells that have been battering the coast so far .
