Warmest winter ever with biggest swells ever

This winter so far :

Well the French meteorologists have confirmed that this winter is the warmest on record, so far. This area has also been affected by some of the worst floods also , due to the water table not having time to drop as we have had constant heavy rain.

The jet stream has caused havoc for the West coast of Europe with consistent massive low pressure. Sadly many iconic land marks are gone or about to go like the famous ‘Watering hole’ in Perranporth , Cornwall :

winter

Down here we have seen massive swells back to back and sadly sods law have bought two of the biggest swells with huge high tides as well. In the last day or so the dune has taken another flogging. Anyone who knows Seignosse le Penon will be shocked on they’re next visit , as the dune took some serious erosion last night.

Its not over yet , but lets hope its not as sever for the rest of winter and good luck to all the local businesses and places on the dune .

Heres a few shots of last nights a Seignosse :
