Surfing French secret spots this summer is high on the agenda for a lot of surfers who come to France to improve and also for the leaner surfers.

Everybody knows that peace and quiet in the water is the preferred ambiance in the water. At the Secret spot lodge we have exactly that on our minds. When we surf we prefer to get away from it all and have a walk on an uncrowded beach to an uncrowded wave we we can surf with just a few mates or totally alone.

 The spot above is no secret spot , but if you know where and when to be you can score some pretty tasty little barrels even on a day like today when there is almost no swell.

Exclusively for our guests when they come and stay with us at the Secret spot lodge and have a desire to surf or learn to surf or want to improve they’re surfing skills we do our best to show them a bit of exactly how beautiful and wild our coastline still is. A lot of people think of Hossegor when they come here to surf , and there is no doubt that the banks are usually good down there , but because of its reputation its without exception always pretty crowded.

This is where we quietly enjoy our little peace of paradise on the Northern beaches and leave the crowds to squabble amongst themselves.

The cheery on the cake is that after a surf lesson , or guided surf you can come back to the Secret spot lodge to enjoy a real piece of tranquility in the luxury of the lodge , that is similar to avoiding the hussle n bussle of the Hossegor surf .
