France has always been a top destination for short distance surf trips. September and October in France has always a great end to the UK summer season, with guaranteed super hot weather, water , and World class waves. The only thing that’s changed over the last few decades is the shape of the boards and more people are cashing in on the end of summer bonus with the perfect French surf and weather. In the early days it was standard practice to spend the surf trip in the back of your car in Seignosse car park, nowadays there are Surf lodges offering even the super budget surfer a comfortable place to sleep.
