Landes on fire

Landes producing world class waves:

As usual for this time of year Landes on fire is the buzzword and we are being treated to some of the best waves on the planet. Its not unusual for the weather to stay pretty fair as well up until about new year. We have had a solid run of blue skies with temps 15-20 degrees.

The charts have been looking pretty awesome as well. Check this for today , couldn’t be much better (ignore the FLAT status its a glitch :

With the distinct lack of crowds we are spoiled for choice , with all of the super famous spots truly on fire. Its a time for every level of surfer to get fully into they’re surfing without the hustle n bustle of the summer. For the less experienced surfers around Capbreton produces great little waves and just next door either side you have VVF with its hardcore grinding barrels and just the other side La Nord and La Gravier with its bone-crushing big-wave status.

We are looking forward to seeing you all again next year for another season of chill and surfing at the Secret spot lodge , when no doubt we will be enjoying the super summer waves of Landes .
