Horse riding this holiday ? If you are an experienced rider or a total novice and you fancy a go, the Messanges riding center caters for all levels. They will guide you for long walks along the beach in the ocean , or through the never ending forests of Les Landes.
We have experienced this center ourselves shortly after it was taken over by the new patron about 5 years ago. We found it was not very well organised with some customer skills lacking. However this is the spot to ride on the beach or forest behind the beach. They cater for all levels of rider. Stables Mont Royal :
This is a relatively new set up , about 3 years ago. Its run by a well reputed professional horse rider. It is situated very close to us on a beautiful 12 hectare piece of land in the middle of the forest. This center offers many different options for all level riders. They have a pony club for 3 yrs and over. Theres a gallop to the lake of Azur ( at the end of our road) through the forest which takes 3 minutes and many other options for every type of rider. We have found this center to be most helpful and very professionally organized.
