The Secret Spot lodge is located in Azur, set in the lush pine forest of Landes. Our french tastefull bed and breakfast  is stones throught from the beautiful beach of Messanges, which offers patrolled beaches and the best surf spots in France .  Here you have everything an aspiring surfer or an experienced surfer could ask for.For beginners who want to learn to surf in France,why not surf  Messanges with the messanges surf school? The world’s top 16 surfers like to surf secret spots whilst visiting for the world championships, this is where you can check them out. When a rest is needed there is a superb licensed restaurant on the beach, also offering a variety of take-away snacks. A truly magical place to watch the sunset with a pint, or just chill on the dunes and take in the tranquillity during your french holidays 2012 .This is just one of the secret spots in the area, you have a huge range of different beaches, restaurants, bars and others activities very close of your local spot.

Here at the Secret Spot lodge, bed and breakfast accomodation in South West France, we have thought of everything to make sure your holiday is complete. If you are looking for a surf intensive holiday we will make sure that’s what you get… Or if you just want to chill on the beach or around the pool with your family, take your time and relax , you are in the right place. You can come and stay with us in our  bed and breakfast near Messanges for a minimum of two nights  and check out when you feel like it. The 11mx6m pool is surrounded by a massive sundeck to ensure you return with a tan . Enjoy our healthy continental breakfast to get you set up for the day. In the evening regular bbqs on the sundeck  or please feel free to check our menus and order the optional meal from our in-house French cuisine master ‘Nelly ‘

Troy and Nelly have devoted there life’s to the beach and the snow,  with over 40 years of surfing, snowboarding , and skating experience, and as many years of catering and tourism. If you want guided surf trips for small summer waves, the notorious big wave  spots of France, or surfing Basque country reefs, we are here for you . If skating is your thing you can check out some of the many local parks. If relaxing in a luxury B&B in France with your family or your friends is your thing, you can do just that, with our swimming pool and our large sundecks. If you want to discover  the  area with our local knowledge, we can point you in the right direction of all the activities  near our holiday accomodation . The winter is big wave season, but also big snow season , just down the road at the biggest Pyrenean resort of Bareges – La Mongie. We will guide you off-piste or hang in the snow park . Our bed and breakfast in South West France is open all year round, so whatever your level is and whatever your thing is, feel free to come and join us for your beach family  holidays.
